Register for Online Services

Get the NHS App for Instant Online Access to your records

Download the NHS App on your phone or tablet and, after a short verification process, you can have access to your own medical records today. The verification process is simple and does not involve you requiring login details or registration codes from Kenneth MacRae Medical Centre.

Use the NHS App to:

  • view your GP medical record to see information such as your allergies and medicines
  • order repeat prescriptions and nominate a pharmacy where you would like to collect them
  • book and manage appointments
  • search trusted NHS information and advice on hundreds of conditions and treatments
  • register your organ donation decision
  • choose how the NHS uses your data

Our online consultations provider, Accurx, is also now integrated with the NHS App meaning you can now get in touch with us to submit a medical query or admin request through the NHS App. Please see the Patient Guide for more information.

Alternatively, register for online services at the practice

You can register for online services by calling in to reception with your photo ID (passport, driving licence) and proof of address (recent utility bill, bank statement) and fill out our online services registration form.

Once we have verified your ID we will issue you a username and password – your online credentials – for you to use to register for an account with any online service provider.

When you have registered with an online service provider you will be able to use the service to do most of the things that can be done on the NHS App, shown above. Please note, however, that our online consultation service, Accurx, is only integrated with the NHS App and not with other online service providers. If you don’t have the NHS App you will still be able to access the Accurx link for online consultations via our website.
