How Do I Make an Appointment?

For appointment information please visit our consulting room. 

Please ask at reception if you wish to register for on-line services. Two forms of ID will be required – photo ID and proof of address – will be required.

Routine appointments can be booked up to four weeks ahead though a certain number are held back for day before and same day booking to allow some flexibility.

There are also emergency appointments daily.

Book your appointment Using Patient Access Online (registration required which can be done using our online form) or by speaking to a receptionist.

Monday Morning Surgery

We have a ‘quick surgery’ from 08:30 every Monday morning (excluding bank holidays) for short consultations. Please phone the surgery on the day at 08:15 and you will be given a guide time to come in. Please note that these appointments are intended for one problem and last up to 5 minutes. Should you require a longer appointment please book a routine 10 minute appointment at another time.

Bookings for Monday morning surgery cease when the session is full or at 09:30, whichever occurs first.

Extended Hours Appointments

We offer the following evening GP appointments on a weekly basis to patients in our practice through extended hours:

Tuesday evening between 18:30 – 19:30 at Kenneth MacRae Medical Centre.

These appointments are only bookable by contacting the surgery on 01744 88 2606.

Telephone Consultations

Telephone consultations can be arranged by speaking to the receptionist.


If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
