Monday Morning Surgery
We have a ‘quick surgery’ from 08:30 every Monday morning (excluding bank holidays) for short consultations. Please phone the surgery on the day at 08:15 and you will be given a guide time to come in. Please note that these appointments are intended for one problem and last up to 5 minutes. Should you require a longer appointment please book a routine 10 minute appointment at another time.
Bookings for Monday morning surgery cease when the session is full or at 09:30, whichever occurs first.
We offer the following evening GP appointments on a weekly basis to patients in our practice through extended hours:
Tuesday evening between 18:30 – 19:30 at Kenneth MacRae Medical Centre
These appointments are only bookable by contacting the surgery on 01744 88 2606.

Your Local Pharmacist
Your local pharmacist will be able to give you free health advice at any time – you don’t need an appointment. Many pharmacies operate extended hours on a rota basis. Call NHS 111 for details.
NHS 111 offers free expert health information and advice 24-hours a day on 111 or at the NHS web page on urgent care service which also offers an enquiry service. For deaf people and those heard of hearing, a telephone service is available on 0845 606 4647. If English is not your preferred language, you can use a confidential translation service.
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
